What will you do?

As a Back-End Developer, you will be part of the development team. This team is responsible for meeting sprint deadlines. For you as Developer, your focus is on adding customer value for our diverse portfolio of customers.
You develop new modules within the framework and coordinate the hosting process, as well as the roll-out and optimisation of software within a project-driven organisation, with a diverse client portfolio.
In addition, you act as a point of contact for project leaders and colleagues with regard to content, serving as a reference point for questions concerning the realisation of websites and web applications. You advise and supervise (junior) Developers functionally and coach them in finding solutions and set-ups. Furthermore, you process and check data for accuracy and identify problems, making improvement proposals to increase overall quality.

What are we looking for?

• At least an HBO level of thinking and work, complemented by several years of relevant work experience.\
• Extensive knowledge of recent versions of PHP and experience with object-oriented programming and modern design patterns.
• Familiarity with client-side techniques such as Vue, HTML5 and CSS3, as well as experience in building API links.
• Experience with Symfony.
• Experience of using Git for version control.
• Knowledge of Git workflows and best practices.
• Experience using Docker for building and deploying software.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and other relevant security standards.
• You embrace ‘Security by Design’.
• Familiarity with new trends and current developments in application development, and experience in functionally managing and coaching junior and medior colleagues.
