What will you be doing?

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be part of the development team responsible for meeting deadlines within the sprint. This team is responsible for achieving deadlines within the sprint. As a senior, this means that you will operate independently within projects and also coach your junior/medior colleagues. However, your focus will primarily be on adding customer value.

You will develop new modules within the framework and coordinate the hosting process, as well as the rollout and optimization of software within a project-driven organization with a diverse client portfolio.

Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for project leaders and colleagues on substantive matters, acting as a knowledge base for issues related to the realization of websites and web applications. You will advise and guide fellow Developers functionally, coaching them in finding solutions and configurations. Furthermore, you will process and verify data for accuracy, identify issues, and make improvement suggestions to enhance overall quality.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum HBO level of thinking and working, supplemented with several years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of recent versions of PHP, experience with object-oriented programming, and modern design patterns.
• Familiarity with client-side techniques such as Vue, HTML5, and CSS3, as well as experience in building API integrations.
• Experience with Symfony.
• Experience with using Git for version control.
• Knowledge of Git workflows and best practices.
• Experience with Docker for building and deploying software.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and other relevant security standards.
• Embrace "Security by Design".
• Awareness of new trends and current developments in application development, and experience in functionally leading and coaching junior and medior colleagues.
