Data Engineer

TSG Group is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work as a consultant for our client, a leading technology company that develops and optimizes complex systems. Their systems process vast amounts of data daily, and you will have the opportunity to transform this data into valuable insights and data-driven services.

Your Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will work on innovative products that provide insights into the performance of complex technical systems. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will build and implement end-to-end data pipelines and dashboards.

What Will You Do?

• Design and implement data and dashboard solutions that deliver maximum customer value.
• Communicate directly with clients and respond to their specific needs.
• Automate and implement data pipelines and dashboards.
• Work in an international and diverse team with an open and respectful work culture.
• Make data accessible to other teams to contribute to an integrated platform.
• Work according to the Scrum methodology and actively contribute to improving existing products.
• Lead communication with various stakeholders within projects.

Your Profile

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience with Agile ways of working.
• At least 3 years of experience in setting up and implementing complex data pipelines and data solutions.
• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with NoSQL and unstructured data; knowledge of Splunk or the ELK stack is a plus.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Splunk, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proficiency in Python and Test-Driven Development (Pytest).
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and data engineering.
• Experience with cloud services (preferably Azure).
• Knowledge of API development, Databricks, and data quality management is a plus.
