Lead Mechanical Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will take the lead in the development of projects within a project team, from concept to production. This includes high-quality mechanical and mechatronic constructions, machines, and devices. Your tasks will include:

• Conducting feasibility studies and viability assessments.
• Creating calculations for quotations and planning construction activities.
• Designing and specifying (parts of) innovative machines.
• Setting up, interpreting, and analyzing complex calculations.
• Selecting and approving suppliers, as well as choosing procurement parts.
• Developing, managing, and delivering technical documentation.
• Coordinating, planning, and monitoring activities for multiple individuals.
• Providing technical guidance to the projects. Instructing, evaluating, and reviewing drawings of team members.

What are we looking for?

For the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer, we are looking for someone with:

• A completed HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Several years of experience in a similar role as a Senior or Lead Engineer.
• Experience with SolidWorks, experience with NX is a strong advantage.
• Experience with lifting, hoisting, and/or assembly tools is a strong advantage.
• You also have experience within the semiconductor industry.
• Fluency in Dutch is essential for this position.
