What will you be doing?

In the role of Mechanical Architect within TSG Group, you will be responsible for the mechanical architecture in projects and involved in the entire development process, from concept and design to realization and integration of projects. Your tasks include:

• Realizing and/or guiding preliminary studies, theoretical working principles, feasibility studies, and calculations.
• Collaborating in creating a Program of Requirements and translating it into specific technical specifications or the Technical Construction File.
• Specifying, designing, and detailing the mechanical architecture of machines and/or machine components, including calculations (manual/FEM) for substantiation.
• Generating well-founded concepts, designs, constructions, machine layouts, and making corresponding correct material choices according to applicable standards.
• Guiding, interpreting, and analyzing more complex calculations.
• Co-generating, managing, and controlling technical construction files, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
• Formulating measurable project objectives.
• Providing technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to the project team, coordinating and overseeing their activities, and enhancing and securing the knowledge and skills of the team.
• Introducing and presenting proposals, concepts, designs, and reports, both internally and externally.
• Enhancing quality by aligning quality standards in the organization, making improvement proposals, and implementing optimal, innovative solutions in terms of people, processes, quality, and efficiency.

What are we looking for in a Mechanical Architect?

• A Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• More than ten years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in machine construction and architecture, mechanization, assembly, production tooling, measurement techniques, production processes, cost calculations, and strength/stiffness and fatigue calculations.
• You are skilled in methodical and conceptual design, collaborating with various disciplines, and have a flexible mindset.
• You are reliable, innovative, and always focused on achieving the desired result.
• Dutch language fluent and English perfect.

• A salary ranging from €4,100 to €6,400 gross per month.
