Project Manager Engineering

What will you be doing?

In this challenging role as Project Manager, you are responsible for delivering the desired project outcome on time, with the right quality, and within budget. Additionally, you'll be tasked with securing new farm-out assignments from clients. In this project, you'll collaborate closely with the client's marketing and sales teams, as well as various production locations, to achieve a successful new product introduction. Your role involves identifying new farm-out projects, which you'll translate in collaboration with business managers.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a colleague with a completed Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Business Administration. You should have several years of experience in a similar role.

• As a dedicated project manager, your focus will be on realizing a new product introduction.
• You understand the interaction between different production locations and can effectively steer in that regard.
• You determine the most optimal production process across various locations, ensure the logistics process is well-organized across different sites, with optimal inventory and minimal lead times.
• You are responsible for fulfilling quality aspects to safeguard the Critical to Quality (CTQ) of the product.
• Experience in managing production and technical processes, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of inventory management and technical optimization, excellent communication skills, and teamwork are required. Additionally, some knowledge and experience in turning, milling, and grinding precision products is preferred.
• You are curious, goal-oriented, and possess strong communication skills with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Lastly, you have knowledge of 3D CAD systems to assess the work of your project team.
