Protoshop Engineer

As a Protoshop Engineer, you’ll be responsible for assembling, testing, and refining prototypes — bringing ideas to life and creating innovative solutions in collaboration with a team of engineers and designers.

How you can help us

We are looking for a driven and hands-on colleague to help us achieve our goals. You’ll make a difference if you bring the following experience:

• Assembling and testing mechanical and/or electrical prototypes
• Working with materials using CNC, 3D printing, turning, milling, and soldering techniques
• Providing input on manufacturability and suggesting design improvements
• Supporting the setup of test environments and preparing measurement reports
• Managing and maintaining the protoshop and tools

What you bring

• A completed MBO or HBO degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in prototype assembly, testing, and related procedures
• Knowledge of technical drawings and production processes
• Affinity with machining, 3D printing, and/or electrical wiring
• A hands-on mentality and strong attention to detail
