What will you be doing?
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at TSG, you will be independently involved in project-based designing, detailing, constructing, or overseeing the construction of mechanical, mechatronic, and/or robotic structures, machines, and devices. If necessary, you will provide guidance, coaching, or functional supervision to colleagues (junior) Engineers. Your tasks will include:
- Contributing to feasibility studies and preliminary investigations.
- Generating and justifying concepts and designing (parts of) machines.
- Creating detailed drawings, taking manufacturability, durability, and technical lifespan into account.
- Setting up and conducting (strength) calculations, analyses, and quality controls.
- Conducting tests, whether through simulations or physical tests, and analyzing the data.
- Instructing, evaluating, and reviewing drawings of team members and providing feedback.
- Monitoring the allocated budget of hours, setting priorities, and communicating about it.
What are we looking for?
For the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer, we are looking for someone with:
- A completed HBO (Bachelor's) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in the role of (senior) Mechanical Engineer.
- Knowledge and experience within machine construction.
- At TSG, we use SolidWorks, but you preferably also have knowledge of a second software package, such as Creo, NX, or Inventor.
- Furthermore, you are proficient in both Dutch and English.
