What will you do?

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at TSG, you will independently design, detail, construct, or oversee the construction of mechanical, mechatronic, and/or robotic structures, machines, and equipment. When needed, you will guide, coach, or functionally direct (junior) Engineers. Your tasks will include:

• Contributing to preliminary studies and feasibility research
• Generating and justifying concepts, and designing (parts of) machines
• Creating detailed drawings with attention to manufacturability, sustainability, and technical lifespan
• Setting up and performing (strength) calculations, analyses, and checks
• Conducting tests, either through simulation or real-world analysis of data
• Instructing, reviewing, and checking drawings from team members, and providing feedback
• Monitoring the allocated hours budget, setting priorities, and communicating about them

What are we looking for?

For the Senior Mechanical Engineer position, we are looking for someone with:

• A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field
• At least 7 years of experience as a (Senior) Mechanical Engineer
• Knowledge and experience in machine construction
• Experience with SolidWorks (we use this at TSG), preferably with knowledge of another package such as Creo, NX, or Inventor
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
