Senior Mechanical Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer within TSG Group, you will be engaged in independently project-based designing, detailing, constructing, or supervising the construction of mechanical, mechatronic, and/or robotic structures, machines, and devices. When necessary, you will guide, coach, or functionally supervise colleague (junior) Engineers. Your tasks will include:

• Collaborating on preliminary studies and feasibility research
• Generating and motivating concepts and designing (components of) machines
• Creating detailed drawings, taking into account feasibility, durability, and technical lifespan
• Setting up and performing (strength) calculations, analyses, and inspections
• Conducting tests, possibly through simulation, and analyzing data
• Instructing, assessing, and reviewing drawings of team members and providing feedback
• Monitoring allocated hour budgets, setting priorities, and communicating about them.

What are we looking for?

For the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer, we are looking for someone with:

• A completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Several years of experience in the role of (senior) Mechanical Engineer.
• Knowledge and experience within machine construction.
• At TSG, we work with SolidWorks, but preferably, you have knowledge of a second package, such as Creo, NX, or Inventor.
• Additionally, you are proficient in both Dutch and English.
