System Engineer with Dynamics & Control experience (Senior)

Your role:

• Drafting control concepts for the products and systems developed by us.
• Implementing these concepts based on your chosen sensors and control hardware (PLC, motion controllers, etc.).
• Designing, modelling and performing dynamic analysis where you carefully identify and include boundary conditions.
• Optimising designs from a dynamics and control point of view.
• If necessary, to verify your models, set up and perform (dynamic) tests (e.g. modal analyses).
• Unambiguously record the issues, your choices, designs, analyses and results as part of the construction file.
• Supervising and coaching junior team members to increase the quality of their work.
• Further developing your knowledge of control and sensor technology. You also actively share this with your colleagues so that together we keep getting better at what we do.

About you

You...

• Have a completed HBO or WO education in the direction of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanics or similar
• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience with control technology and dynamic analysis. You are able to translate results into technical - creative - solutions for high-tech machines and products.
• You have experience with a diversity of control hardware and software - including PLCs - and sensors.
• Have knowledge of design strategies and can draw up a plan of requirements based on customer demand and need.
• Can estimate the technical complexity, risks, time and costs of work packages.
• Preferably have experience with SolidWorks and Simulation and with high-end software such as Ansys, Abacus or Nastran.
• Mastery of the Dutch and English languages
• You have experience in guiding junior colleagues, acting as a mentor here.
